This set of permanent-when-dry Derwent Inktense watercolour paints contains 12 colours, a water brush and a sponge.
Bright Colours: The paints in this set have a high pigment concentration and leave a very distinct mark of saturated colours which don’t dissolve in water after drying, like the water-soluble permanent Inktense pencils and pastels.
Combining to get a secondary colour: an unlimited range of colours can be achieved by mixing the colours and adding water. Unlike watercolour paints when painting over a layer of paint it won’t dissolve the layer onto which it is being applied. The paints are designed to dry shortly after being applied which allows for the application of contrasting colours on top of each other without the risk of smudging.
Suitable for different surfaces: Derwent Inktense watercolour paints are permanent after drying, meaning they can be used on paper, white fabrics like cotton and silk, also suitable for white air-dry clay. Popular for decorating handmade duvets and patchwork, writing on handmade wedding invitations and making ornamental wreaths.
Easy to carry: intended for use while travelling and painting outdoors, the set contains everything for painting: 12 colours of paint, a small water brush, a small sponge and the inside of the white plastic lid has 5 mixing wells.
This set includes the following colours: Bright Blue, Burnt Yellow Ochre, Dark Plum, Ink Black, Kiwi, Mango, Mid Ultramarine, Natural Brown, Poppy Red, Racing Green, Sun Yellow, Teal Green
