The transparent inks in Copic alcohol markers are designed for layering and smooth blending. One of the most accessible ways to master these basic techniques, test the capabilities of your new markers, or simply relax with some casual coloring is by using ready-made coloring pages.

Here are some easy-to-color pictures suitable for printing on A4 paper:

What Kind of Paper Should We Choose?

Texture

It is recommended that we always use our markers on smooth paper that is gentle on the tip. There are also notebooks with specialized paperwhose sheets are glued together and can be easily torn off for printing.

Weight

Standard printers that flip the paper can handle paper weights of up to 150–180 gsm.

Note

It is perfectly normal for alcohol-based markers to seep into the fibers of the paper and bleed through to the back of thinner sheets. That’s why it’s a good idea to work on a mat or another sheet of paper, especially if you’re layering colors—that is, going over the same area repeatedly with the marker.
