Features and Operation:
- All-metal body: The absence of plastic parts prevents the pins from melting when they come into contact with a hot iron during sewing and cutting.
- Sharp conical tip: Penetrates smoothly through fabric, felt, cork, cardboard, and Styrofoam without fraying the threads or leaving rough holes.
- Low-profile flat head: Fits snugly against the surface, does not interfere when cutting with scissors around it, and holds thin elements (such as sequins and paper) securely.
- Hardness: The steel retains its straight shape and does not bend when piercing denser fabrics and backing materials.
- Moisture protection: The nickel coating insulates the metal and prevents dark stains from forming on light-colored fabrics during use.
Application:
- Cutting, Fitting, and Ironing Fabrics in Tailoring.
- Prototyping, assembling, and securing parts made of foam board, balsa wood, and Styrofoam.
- Stretching and shaping knits and lace.
- Quilling technique and shaping forms from paper strips.
- Attaching sequins and ribbons to Styrofoam bases.
- Pinning notes and messages to corkboards.
