Matting medium for velatura or glazing (glazing ), with acrylic paint that dries to a transparent, matte finish, leaving only the shade it blends with visible.
Velatura, or glazing, is a technique traditionally used with oil paints to apply a very transparent layer over a colored or black-and-white painting with established tonal values ( the grisaille technique), to add color or to create depth and realism.
Typically, a large proportion of medium is used instead of water, with a small proportion of paint (for example, a 70/30 ratio), but the ratio may vary depending on the desired saturation and the density of the paint. The most suitable paints for this purpose are transparent and semi-transparent paints, marked with ☐ and ⧄.
It’s best to use a soft brush, which will smoothly and evenly distribute the colored medium—a medium that has the property of self-leveling across the layers onto which it is applied.
The homogeneous mixture of paint can be applied gradually to specific parts of the painting or, more boldly, to the entire painting, and then removed with a damp cloth to completely transform the tonality, atmosphere, and overall effect.

- The weight and volume of the shipment
The amount of the courier service is calculated automatically by the system upon completion of an order.
A minimal difference in the amount of the courier service upon receipt of the package is possible due to discrepancies in the total weight of the package calculated by the system and the weight measured by the courier company.
