A set of 8 basic oil paint colors in 12-ml tubes, part of the Art Creation series by the Dutch manufacturer Talens.
Designed for students and beginners, this series provides an introduction to oil painting techniques: mixing colors to achieve the desired shade, wet-on-wet painting, layering, and velatur painting by applying translucent layers to create an optical blending of colors on the canvas or mounted surface.
The long drying time of oil paints allows you to continue working on the painting for up to several weeks after application. Talens Art Creation oil paint retains its appearance while drying, with distinct brushstrokes, without losing volume or changing color.
Made from highly concentrated pigments and vegetable oil as a binder, they offer an excellent balance between quality and price.
The set includes the following colors: titanium white, yellow, carmine, ultramarine, green, yellow ochre, burnt umber, and black.
