A very thick and rich, smoothly flowing black ink for painting and calligraphy with glass and metal nibs, a brush, a brush or an airbrush.
Royal Talens Black Ink is based on a highly durable pigment and shellac —which means it can be diluted with water to achieve different shades or to apply techniques typical of watercolor painting.
However, once it has dried It becomes completely waterproof.
That is why it is important to rinse the tools with water immediately after working with the ink, as it dries relatively quickly. It is recommended to apply it with a watercolor brush set aside specifically for this purpose.
It can be used on paper and cardboard, tracing paper, unvarnished wood, and acetate sheets, and remains fade-resistant.
This ink is not recommended for cartridge-style pens or for hand-made stick-and-poke tattoos .
