Styrofoam beads with a diameter of 5 cm, part of our new line of eco-friendly Styrofoam products.
These days, most of the polystyrene in use is not recycled. It takes over 500 years for Styrofoam to break down, releasing harmful substances into the air, soil, and water.
The six smooth balls in this set look just like the Styrofoam we’re familiar with, but they’re made from a non-toxic, impact-resistant alternative that doesn’t pollute the environment and is fully recyclable.
Styrofoam, a bulky yet extremely lightweight material, makes it very convenient for creating models and 3D projects, decorations, lightweight toys, and ornaments, as well as for arts and crafts activities in school.
Painting: It can be painted with acrylic or tempera paint (though only acrylic is moisture-resistant once dry) or decorated using the decoupage technique.
Shaping and gluing: It can be cut with a craft knife, pierced, strung, and combined with wire and wooden sticks; it can be glued using a low-temperature silicone glue gun or all-purpose adhesives that prevent the foam from melting.
