Very smooth, double-sided coated drawing paper with a weight of 350 gsm, often referred to as “chrome” or “cigarette” paper (similar to the paper used in the production of cigarette packs).
Garda Matt can be described as glossy cardstock, but without the characteristic sheen.
It’s a pleasure to draw on with graphite pencils, markers, fine-tip pens, and ballpoint pens, which glide effortlessly across the super-smooth surface.
The double-sided coating on the sheets allows liquid paints, ink, and inksticks to spread somewhat, but they are still absorbed quickly.
Garda Matt is an excellent cardstock for printing, including glossy images.
Manufactured without the use of chlorine.
We recommend testing the drying time of different painting mediums in advance to prevent unwanted smudging.
