Gold TN shellac is used in gold-plating processes both to prime porous surfaces before applying the Mixion adhesive base, as well as for polishing and protecting the applied coating of fine gold leaf, Schlagmetall, or varak. Once dry, the shellac imparts a warm luster to the gilded surfaces.
The flake shellac sold at Slanchogled leaves a clear coat with a deep shine when applied after being thinned with alcohol.
Shellac is a natural, non-toxic product; it is a resin produced by insects from entirely renewable sources.
Shellac flakes are dissolved in ethyl alcohol (typically 50 grams in 150 ml of alcohol), and the resulting solution can be applied with a brush, swab, spray, or soft cloth. It dries very quickly after application.
Shellac is UV-resistant and does not yellow or darken over time. It adheres firmly to virtually any surface, is much more resistant to cracking than other varnishes, and is relatively scratch-resistant. If necessary, the lacquer layer can be renewed by applying a new coat over the old one. The new coat will melt and blend with the previously applied layer.
Shellac does not require a specific temperature for application; it can be applied even in cold rooms and will dry in the usual amount of time.

Orders for an amount over BGN 100 have free delivery to the address or office of the courier.
For orders worth less than BGN 100, the cost of the courier service is at the buyer’s expense and is determined depending on:
- The selected courier company Speedy AD or Econt Express
- Delivery method (To office or to address)
- The weight and volume of the shipment
The amount of the courier service is calculated automatically by the system upon completion of an order.
A minimal difference in the amount of the courier service upon receipt of the package is possible due to discrepancies in the total weight of the package calculated by the system and the weight measured by the courier company.
Customers of the Slanchogled online store enjoy a 30% discount from the basic tariff for courier services of Econt Express OOD and preferential prices upon delivery by Speedy AD courier.
