A set of 7 earth-tone Pan Pastels by Golden, arranged in a palette with 10 pans.
Includes a fine applicator (with 1 replaceable foam tip) and two sponges —one round and one oval.
Available in the following colors: titanium white, oxide yellow, oxide red, burnt sienna, raw umber, Payne’s gray, black.
Who are PanPastel:
Golden’s Pan Pastels feature exceptionally rich pigments in a new, dust-free application format.
The wide, flat pans in which they are housed allow you to pick up and apply a lot of color at once, much like painting with a wide brush.
Advantages:
- Easy to use—Pan pastels are dry but work like paint
- smooth blending and transitioning of colors
- bright and rich shades with the highest level of lightfastness
- Clean painting with minimal dust —especially suitable for people with respiratory problems
- erasable with an eraser
- can be freely combined with traditional dry pastels and pastel pencils
- Each box contains 40% more color than a standard pastel set.
How to apply them:
- with a sponge or an applicator made of dense, smooth foam—makeup pads, for example, are suitable
- with a soft, fine, short-bristled pastel brush
- with your fingers.
