Optical Properties on Various Surfaces
- On patterned and colorful wrapping paper: The tape remains almost invisible due to the lack of a glossy finish and light reflection, which prevents shiny lines from appearing along the folds of the gifts.
- On dark or black backgrounds: A slight matte (frosted) tint may appear at certain angles of light; however, this is more subtle compared to the glare from regular transparent tape.
- On matte kraft or recycled paper: The acetate tape blends completely with the surface, making the overlap areas invisible.
Special Considerations and Requirements for Bonding
- Activation by pressure: To completely eliminate the initial milky tint, press down on and smooth out the strip after applying it; this removes any trapped air and helps the adhesive penetrate the paper’s texture.
- Cleanliness of the work area: The presence of paper dust, lint, or greasy residue reduces the contact area of the acrylic adhesive. The cleanliness of the substrate is crucial for preventing the adhesive from peeling at the edges.
- Ink drying time: When writing on a matte surface with gel pens or water-based markers , you must wait a few seconds for the ink to dry to prevent smudging on the non-absorbent acetate film.
- Effect of Texture: The invisibility effect is most pronounced on smooth surfaces. On glossy coatings or papers with a pronounced texture (such as watercolor paper), the outline remains visible due to differences in light refraction.
- Time window for adjustments: Immediately after application, the adhesive layer allows for careful removal and repositioning on most thick papers without causing damage, but once it has fully cured, the bond becomes permanent.

- The weight and volume of the shipment
The amount of the courier service is calculated automatically by the system upon completion of an order.
A minimal difference in the amount of the courier service upon receipt of the package is possible due to discrepancies in the total weight of the package calculated by the system and the weight measured by the courier company.
