This Van Gogh oil paint set includes 6 colors in 20-ml tubes: Titanium White (105), Light Azo Yellow (268), Azo Red Medium (393), Permanent Green Dark (619), burnt umber (409), cobalt ultramarine blue (512), arranged in a gift box with a brief introduction to painting techniques using the paints on the inside of the lid.
The popular Van Gogh line of oil paints, manufactured in the Netherlands, falls into the higher-end category of student-grade—or budget—paints, thanks to their rich pigments and satisfactory quality for the price.
Van Gogh paints are characterized by a relatively soft and rich, creamy consistency that makes them extremely easy to mix and apply.
The colors in the range have uniform gloss and viscosity and medium to high lightfastness.
