A set of 36 soft pastels from the Art Creation series by the Dutch company Royal Talens. These square-shaped pastels are made using high-quality pigments ensuring rich, intense colours with a satin finish.
When drawing with soft pastels the colours are blended on the paper using a finger a paper stump or a rubber brush. The square shape of the pastels makes them suitable for delicate illustrations (by using only a corner of the pastel), as well as colouring swathes of the sheet (by moving the pastel across the paper on its wide side).
Made for students and hobby activities, they can be an inspiring gift for beginner artists.
