High-coverage white tempera gouache paint in a 20 ml metal tube.
Talens poster paints are made with added dextrin as a binder for the pigments, which makes the colors easy to apply, opaque, self-leveling, and completely matte when dry.
The pigment-rich paint adheres to any slightly porous surface (paper, wood, ceramics) and dries quickly; light colors darken, while dark colors become lighter after the water evaporates.
Water-soluble gouache shares many of the properties and capabilities of watercolor and can be mixed with it or reused after it dries on the palette.
White No. 106 is one of the 15 Talens colors available only in 20-ml tubes. All other colors in the range are also available in 16- and 50-ml jars.
Gouache is a versatile medium suitable for designers, illustrators, poster art, comics, and animation, as well as for sketching and practice before moving on to oil and acrylic paintings— it offers precision, full coverage, and works well for digitization.
