Metallic No. 800 is made from mica pigment and transparent, metal-coated particles that reflect light in a rich antique gold hue.
Semi-gloss gold can be used as an accent or to add sparkle to other colors, and it looks its most dazzling on dark paints and paper.
The tendency of colors to granulate is evident in the way the larger pigment particles become embedded in the paper’s irregularities after wetting, creating a fine, expressive texture.
The texturing capabilities of these paints can be useful for depicting natural elements such as water, the sky, clouds, celestial bodies, sand, rocks, trees, smoke, shadows, cityscapes, and adding more character to portraits.
