Your order
A purple watercolor half pan from the Van Gogh series by Royal Talens, individually packaged in a cardboard blister pack and wax paper, which describe the main pigments used to create the color, as well as its lightfastness and transparency.
Although they fall into the student-grade watercolor category, Van Gogh paints come close to the quality of professional-grade paints, thanks to their excellent dispersion and transparency, as well as their creamy consistency—all at a very affordable price.
Van Gogh watercolors stand out from other brands on the market with a palette of rich yet relatively muted tones, without appearing unnaturally bright.
The paints, whose formula was improved in 2019, blend exceptionally easily and flow naturally, creating balanced, painterly gradients with a fine texture.
Many of the shades in the Van Gogh palette are transparent and are therefore suitable for paintings in which the artist seeks to create the effect of visible outlines beneath the colors.
