The opaque white ink used in the white Sakura Gelly Roll fine liner leaves a solid line on black and other dark surfaces.
Useful when working on comics and illustrations for adding contrast and reflected light.
Like all gel pens, the ink in the Gelly Roll series by the Japanese manufacturer Sakura flows evenly without pressure.
- water-based ink with bright, long-lasting colour
- adheres well to both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces
- a popular choice for nail art – making a thin line is easier than with a brush
- can be used on river stones.
Gel pens contain thick ink which flows more slowly than that of ball-point pens and fineliners. When the pen glides carefully across the surface, the line it leaves is both more opaque and more saturated because the ink has the time it needs to flow out.
Available in 3 sizes:
- 05 / thin: 0.3 mm line
- 08 / medium: 0.4 mm line
- 10 / bold: 0.5 mm line.
