A flexible and transparent rubber-based adhesive, known as rubber cement, designed for temporary bonding, primarily of paper.
Traditionally, adhesive is made from rubber or elastic polymers liquefied with a solvent. When the solvent evaporates, a thin, pliable adhesive layer remains.
Directions for use:
- Apply a thin layer to one or both of the surfaces you want to bond.
- Wait just a moment, then press the surfaces together.
- If you go beyond the edge of the sheet, the glue comes off very easily once it’s dry.
It does not warp the paper, unlike wet glues.

Thanks to these properties, the glue is suitable for temporarily attaching exhibition materials and signs, as well as projects, drawings, designs, collages, and scrapbooking.
It can also be used on other flexible materials, such as pieces of leather, before sewing.
Rubber adhesive is short-lived and weakens over time.
It is designed to be easily removed without leaving any residue or causing discoloration.
Due to its composition, it emits a strong odor. Use in a well-ventilated area.
