A square phaser measuring 25 x 25 cm and 3 mm thick, covered with a primed 100% cotton fabric.
The main advantages of mounted panels are their affordable price and the ability to work with a variety of media — oil, tempera, and acrylic paints, as well as markers. They are an ideal option for those who are still practicing and do not want to commit to purchasing more expensive and bulky stretched canvases.
Paint panels are an easy way to tie the colors in your home together with a handmade painting. For maximum convenience, you can use stencils in combination with spray paint and a paint roller, create repeating patterns with a stiff brush, create appliqués and collages, and experiment with different textures using texture paste. The panels are also suitable for pouring techniques with acrylic additives and gilding with gold leaf and metal leaf.
The smallest ones can be displayed on a mini tripod as an alternative to typical framed pictures, serve as a coaster or cup holder, or be the basis for a more creative card or a print of a baby’s hand or foot.
Metal or fabric picture hangers can be used to hang them, and they can also be framed if desired.
